Fifty Shades of Grey - Twilight's big sister.

No offense to "Twilight" and "Fifty shades of grey" fans here, but I read the first book of Twilight and couldn't stand it, so I better not read "Fifty shades of grey". I know the plots of those two books are different but the style is similar. I heard that the ones who didn't like "Twilight"...

Has anyone read "the Kite runner" or "A thousand splendid suns"?

I totally agree with you about the claim that ever since feminism was invented, men hardly have jobs because of the women who work. I'm personally a fan of feminism (It doesn't mean I hate men, being a feminist is nothing to do with hating men), but I respect the ones who don't agree with me...

    The perfume by Patrick Süskind;‏

It might not supposed to be a horror book, but it's scary. It's about a psycho orphan who is passionated about perfumes and knows how to make them, but his success is due to murdering young girls in order to catch their scent. I shivered while reading it. It's one of the best classic books.

What makes you re-read a book?

A scene I loved from a certain book makes me reread that book again. I mean, I read some chapters again and then read some later.

I accept your opinion, but I don't agree with you- Feminism only lead to good things- Many women are independent and don't need a man to rely on, they work in a decent job, they promote their education, they can choose whether they want to get married and have kids or not. In the past, they were...

What is your favorite out of the two? Mine is "A thousand splendid suns". They are sad indeed, but they show us another side of the world. Those books acutally made me interested in Afghanistan and the Islam religion in general and encourage me to think of ways to spread the feminism there.

At first, I didn't like the catcher in the rye either, but when the teachers analysed it and the theme, I started to relate to Holden.

Has anyone read those books? They are written by Khalled Husseini, who is currently my favorite writer. I can't wait for more books of his to be published.
