Yea I'm weird with my ratings I suppose. I often rate books in a series against each other and while enjoyable it wasn't much more than that. So I compare it to the full Stormlight novels, which isn't fair I guess but eh.
As for Shallan, I agree that she's not particularly funny but overall I like her character a lot. Her flashbacks where way more engaging than I thought they would be and with Oathbringer she became a lot more interesting with those other personalities.
