Has anybody read the Moontide Quartet by David Hair? I haven't read it, but Youtube book reviewer Kitty G says it's great. Any second opinions?

I've read the first one and a half books. It's a bit slow to start but a pretty good story overall.

I've read the first two books. It's decent but unspectacular.

    Pros:

    - Decent storyline
    - Some good characters
    - Nice concept regarding the Moontide, how it came to be

    Cons:

    - Gratuitous graphic sex scenes that read like something out of a porno book
    - Some of the characters are just so fucking STUPID
    - Predictable

The bard`s song Will likely be killed by a Lannister soon

They are split into 8 books in German with I think the 7th being scheduled for beginning of 2018.
I have read the first 3 or 4 (so half of the whole series) and really liked them. After I feared that this will be another unfinished series in German I stopped.
Once the 8th and final book is officially announced reading the whole series is quite high on my priority list.
