I found the music thread kind of interesting and just figured I would start a thread on favorite TV shows. Here is my list although I just started watching Breaking Bad so I may add it if it is as good as everybody says.
  1. The Sopranos
  2. Justified
  3. Game of Thrones
  4. Sons of Anarchy
  5. Shameless(American version)
  6. Walking Dead
  7. Doctor Who
  8. The Shield
  9. 24
  10. Dexter
I guess this should have went in Movies/TV section but I didn't see it until after I posted it.

I honestly don't watch much telly. My Mrs watches neverending crap, and I tend to be on the internet / read whilst she watches her neverending crap.

When I do watch telly it tends to be flicking between music channels, or watching stuff like How It's Made.

I forgot It's Always Sunny. I love that show but I don't get FXX. Deadwood was almost on my list but I have forgotten so much of it that I need to go back and watch it again.

I assure you, I was and am completely serious. Its a tv series and really good. In my opinion, perhaps the most complete, character and storywise
lol, I was quoting Marvin the Paranoid Android from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Favorite shows...that's complex. For one thing my taste in TV changes...plus I've racked up some years so I have a lot on my list..but ok let's try it.

  1. Agatha Christie's Poirot
  2. Black Books (I love this show. Everyone should watch this)
  3. Black Mirror
  4. Blackadder
  5. Buffy The Vampire Slayer
  6. Dead Like Me
  7. Farscape
  8. Fawlty Towers
  9. Game of Thrones
  10. Grimm
  11. House M.D
  12. House of Cards
  13. Red Dwarf
  14. South Park
  15. Startrek: The Next Generation
  16. Supernatural (guilty pleasure lol)
  17. The Big Bang Theory
  18. The IT Crowd
  19. The X Files
  20. True Detective

And I probably forgot a lot more. I appreciate dark British humor more than American for comedy shows as you can probably see from the list :)

You all apparently watch a lot more television than I do. I have seen a few HBO series (spaced out at about one episode per week on DVD) but I just haven't been interested in much television lately. Not that I think there's anything wrong with watching TV if it's something you want to do -- and I'm sure there's some good stuff out there, it's just not something I've cared too much about the past few years.
