Wouldn't you want to change the author's name to Elizabeth Moon on the entry.

I am not sure how this one rated so low, as compared to some of the series listed higher....must just be a matter of taste. This series fits all of the criteria, is not as stale and drawn out as WOT, is a better tale that Martins song of fire and ice, and should be up nearer the top of the list.

It´s been said already, but it was almost a year ago so I´m going to say it again: the author is Elizabeth Moon.

I think this series is overrated. The world is extremely simplistic (good vs evil) and very little effort is made to improve it. The characters seem paper thin and very generic. The soldiering bit was not bad and the storytelling itself fairly interesting.
