Entertaining but not even close to A Song of Ice and Fire or The Malazan Book of the Fallen in my opinion (having read all books in all three series).

This series is what Song of Ice and Fire should have been. In fact, Martin should ask Kearney for help finishing Song of Ice and Fire in a timely manner.

I also think that it ended too suddenly. Ultimately disapointing as it had a lot of potential

I've been reading fantasy for 40 years and was looking for something I haven't read that won't bore me to tears with it's clunky writing and unnecessary length. What a gem of a series! Thank you bestfantasybooks.com for the recommendation. This series is 1) COMPLETE 2)Doesn't wander around for 25 years (Earth years)with excessive verbosity 3) engaging and beautifully written. You were right - criminally underrated and neglected.

Considering each book is only a few hundred words, it must be GoT ultra-light
