    Please remove this from you list. It is quite possibly some of the worst writing I've ever encountered. Here's a gem, never to be forgotten: "He shrugged perceptibly."

    Honestly, it negates your other reviews to have this drivel on the list. Some neat ideas here, to be sure, but the execution is horrid, painful, and actual work to try to get through. I had to stop before brain cells burst en masse...

    Young adult is a category, not a genre. A book can be YA and UF, as this one is. It's one of the strongest examples of a YA UF out there.
