    This series consists of 7 original books, 3 special editions, and 4 books in the second series so far. I absolutely love this series. It includes wonderful characters; Meilin, Conor, Abeke, and Rollan to name a few. This series is published by Scholastic and is inspiring to stick with our friends, do what's right, and possibly even save the world! There is a game on the App Store as well that allows you to be your own character who summoned a spirit animal and go on quests to find the talismans before the Conquerors do! It's so exciting! The series itself is so amazing and it's made me cry a couple times because that's what I do during books.

    Anyways. Here's a peek at the plot;

    "In the world of Erdas, four children are about to discover if they have a spirit animal bond, a rare link between human and beast that gives great powers to both. Separated by vast distances, Conor, Abeke, Meilin, and Rollan each see a flash of light... and then the animals emerge.

    Wolf, leopard, panda, falcon. Each of the children had summoned a beast from legend. Now their fate is set. The four new heroes and their animals must band together on a dangerous quest. A dark force from the past is rising, and only they have the power to stop it.

    The fate of Erdas has fallen onto the shoulders of them.
