This is one of the better series I've read in a long time. It is dark and it might be a bit much for some people but if that is your thing it can even be humorous at times. It's a change of pace for sure.

I read most of the first book, but found very little reason to continue. Unlikable characters, bland worldbuilding, mediocre prose.
