The listing title should be "The Chronicle of Amber" which contain all 5 Amber novels into one volume, totalling 790 pages. The story really does continue from one book to the next. They are fluidly written, certainly carry you along at a good pace, and contain some interesting philosophical comments on human nature along the way. A very imaginative, descriptive broad world that builds on the fantasies of the ordinary world. Perhaps a few too many battles for my liking. My rating is for the 5 books combined.

I've read the series (all 10 books - 5 books for each plot cycle) and I can say without a doubt this is one of the greatest stories ever written, the elements of which are all over modern writing and film, this series helped inspire game of thrones (RR says it himself), it's as if game of thrones, Jason Bourne and Plato all had a kid.
