A good series, but somewhat ruined by the author's vague descriptions and overly humorous style.

I've read all of Rick's books and they are fantastic! A must read! Be sure to follow up with The Heroes of Olympus.

It is a funny and GREAT book! One of the best I ever read. I highly recommend that u read it if you love Greek gods or demigods.

I don't really like Greek Mythology before I read this. I must say, this book REALLY changed that. Oh, after reading this, go look for Heroes of Olympus series.

Amazing books. There's so much more to it than just Greek mythology. It shows the struggles of standing out and not having many friends. Percy's attitude, tone, and humor makes him seem more realistic. Definitely worth a read. Oh, and I would go hunt down Heroes of Olympus. Those definitely build upon Percy Jackson's qualities by adding diversity to the first series.
