The first book gripped me from beginning to end, the second book was so ingenious that it was worth dragging myself through, but Mockingjay was so painful that I know two people who didn't even finish it (which was great because I got to see their faces as I gave away the ending!)
The only silver lining is that it will make a great film. It's just like any one of the other big blockbuster action films, plot as thin as paper but great for visuals.
