I would put this in your Books with Bad Sequels section. I liked the first book, with all of its side jaunts into fairy mythology giving it an old-fashioned storyteller feel. I liked the main character, and how she makes clever use of some lore - like the four-leaf clover. She was smart and interesting, and then, at the end of the book, she gets her looks, her voice, and her memories back, which apparently turns her into a bimbo. Very disappointing. The other two books had nothing to stand on.
